BioQuant is Heidelberg University's interdisciplinary research center for the quantitative analysis of molecular and cellular systems. Research at the BioQuant integrates theoretical modeling approaches, laboratory experiments and technology development. The Chair of International Health and Medical Law and Data Protection Law (Prof. Fruzsina Molnár-Gábor) at the Faculty of Law, based at BioQuant, focuses on the legal framework for new medical technologies, research and treatment methods. In accordance with national, European and international normative principles, we develop standards to contribute to the further development of the legal framework. Our analyses in the field of medical research and care focus on legal issues relating to genomics, stem cell research and therapies, cancer medicine, genome editing, biobanking and paediatrics.

You will support the Chair of International Health and Medical Law and Data Protection Law Data Protection Law" under the direction of Professor Fruzsina Molnár-Gábor through a variety of secretarial work and responsible administrative activities.

Your responsibilities

  • Management and administration of third-party funds
  • Support in the review and preparation of third-party funding applications
  • Contact and consultation with funding organisations
  • Student administration and organisation
  • Support with general administrative activities and communication in the academic field scientific field
  • Support with the organisation of projects and courses
  • Support in the creation and updating of the website

Your profile

  • Relevant vocational training in the commercial or administrative field (comparable knowledge and experience) knowledge and experience)
  • Good knowledge of financial and resource management
  • Good knowledge of common IT applications (SAP, Excel and other Office applications, experience with Endnote is an advantage)
  • Very good communication skills, very good German and good English skills
