Project Leader

Prof. Dr. Carl Herrmann studied applied mathematics and computer sciences in Paris. He completed his PhD in theoretical physics at CNRS and Aix-Marseille University in 1999 before moving to Germany and Italy for a post-doc. From 2003 to 2013, he was assistant-professor of Bioinformatics at Aix-Marseille University. He then became a group leader at Heidelberg University and the DKFZ. Since 2018, he has been assistant-professor at the Medical Faculty of Heidelberg University and group leader at BioQuant.
