Prof. Dr. Rasmus Schröder
Project Leader
Prof. Dr. Rasmus Schröder studied physics and biology at Heidelberg University and Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. He received his PhD back in Heidelberg in theoretical high-energy physics before moving as PostDoc into electron microscopy and research on molecular motors in the Max-Planck department of KC Holmes at the MPI for Medical Research. After a senior scientist position at the MPI for Biophysics, he joined BioQuant in 2008 as full professor in the “CellNetworks” Cluster of Excellence at Heidelberg University.
